Julia joined the Preference Laboratory as a research assistant in December 2016 after a year of working in Population Health at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. She is mostly working on a PCORI-funded study looking at the use of decision aids in breast cancer surgery for women of low socioeconomic status. Before moving to the Upper Valley, she worked in communication and advocacy for medical research in Washington DC and received her MPH from George Washington Unviersity. She holds a BA in Journalism and Spanish from New York University.
